The developer area

What stays with whoever installs: modules, access requests, the audit log, privileges and external connections.

The developer area

An area reserved for the developer role, apart from the client's suite. It holds what a client does not need to touch, and the record of what happened.

The modules

Every module and its sub-modules are switched on or off for the whole site, after confirming the password. A brochure site has no calendar; a photographer has no contracts.

Access requests

Someone asks for an account from the sign-in page, with a message. The request waits here to be approved or rejected, and expires if nobody answers.

Mount points

Connections to outside resources (a database, an API, an SFTP server), with the result of their last test. Secrets are encrypted in the database.

Also in the developer area

  • The audit log: who did what, to which object, and when.
  • Permissions: the privileges each module declares, screen by screen.
