Settings and modules

Each site switches on only what it needs, and integrations run on the client's own account.

Aurora is a base with modules. A brochure site does not need a calendar; a photographer's site does not need document management. What is not useful switches off, and leaves the menu.

What can be set

  • The site name, the default language, the front page, the active languages.
  • Upload limits and accepted formats.
  • The modules that are on, and the screens that come with them.
  • Outside integrations, wired to the client's own account rather than mine, and off by default.
  • The names of the side-menu sections, when the client's vocabulary differs from mine.

A setting written here survives updates: the product knows about it, rather than a file left beside it.
