Deleting erases nothing straight away. A publication, a document, a folder, a category or a note goes to its module's trash, and every trash is gathered on one screen: what was thrown away, since when, and how long is left to change your mind.
What it does
- One screen for every trash, with a tab per module and per kind, and how many items are waiting in each.
- The screen opens on the fullest trash: it starts with what there is to deal with.
- Each row says when it was deleted, and the banner says in how many days the purge will come round.
- Restoring puts the item back where it was, when that is still possible: a folder whose parent is gone comes back at the root, a category whose name was taken again gets a free one.
- Deleting a row for good, or emptying a whole trash, asks for a confirmation that says there is no way back.
- The purge is automatic: after thirty days, adjustable in the settings, whatever is left is erased. Setting the delay to zero turns it off.
- A module that is switched off, or closed to the account looking, does not appear: everyone sees only the trashes of the modules open to them.
Each tab also leads to the list its items came from.
