The project
Sauge & Sarment does not exist: it is a restaurant invented to show what Aurora can do on a subject far from Orbiane. A seasonal bistro presents its menu, takes bookings, offers its dining room for private events, announces its evenings and tells the story of its cooking in a journal.
What the site shows
- The menu and wines by the glass, with prices, labels and details
- Opening hours, the address and a contact card
- Booking and private dining forms, with date and time slot
- A countdown to the next evening, a diary and photo galleries
- A journal of six articles, in three languages: French, English and Spanish
- A dark and brass theme, its own typeface and logo
One page per use
The menu reads like a printed card, the journal like a magazine: each article has its opening photo, its sections, a quote from the team and links to the other articles.
On a phone
Every page adapts to phones: folded menu, a card you can read one-handed, a booking form made for the thumb.
How it is made
Like Orbiane, the site is a separate Aurora instance, loaded from a “pack”: a set of files describing the pages, menus, media and settings. The same engine, two sites that look nothing alike. The photographs come from Pexels.
