The media library
Files are filed, described, and served in several sizes as WebP.
A site's pictures usually end up in a folder nobody tidies. Here they live in a library: filed, tagged, described, and findable.
What the library holds
- Folders, one category per document, and as many tags as needed.
- Alt text per picture, for screen readers and for search engines.
- Successive versions of the same document, and the list of pages using it.
- Several sizes generated automatically and served as WebP, unasked.
- A royalty-free photo search without leaving the screen: the file is downloaded, filed and credited on its own.
Deleting a document says first where it is used: a picture does not vanish from a page without warning.
